Let’s face it, rowing is not the most accessible sport. Rowers need water access, boat storage space, and expensive equipment to train – these costs add up quickly. At Row New York, our programs and equipment are completely free for most of our athletes. Donors like you make sure we can keep it that way! Summer at Row New York ☀️ Today's the first official day of our summer programs! ~Youth rowing Our rowers are back from Dartmouth College and starting their local training today. The varsity team is prepping for Overpeck Summer Sprints next weekend. Our intermediate and middle school rowers are on the water as well. Rowers will be training in smaller boats to sharpen their technique. ~Student Support and Success Regular programming begins this week and athletes are having a picnic on Friday. ~Summer camps The first summer camp is starting its second week and our second camp kicks off on the 18th. There's still time to register! ~Community Rows The Jewish Community Center is learning to row tomorrow as part of our Community Rows program. @jccbrooklyn ~Adaptive Rowing The program is kicking off at the end of August.
