2009, I graduated with my associates degree in accounting from Deltech.
2002, I landed in Philadelphia with $100, a single mother of two ages 2 and 8.
Though it took me 4 years to get an associates degree, what you may not know I was raising two children as a single mother, working two jobs, a home owner and a business owner of Joy Maids LLC.
Trust the process. Keep taking one step at a time. One class per semester is alright!!
Celebrating all single parents getting it done.
Weighed less than 100 pounds, then.
Setbacks are part of the process.
For three years, Upendo operated without a single grant. We had less than 100 people who believed in our mission and donated cash and in kind gifts.
Year three, we had floods..
We had to buy water to grow food...
This post is to encourage you, trust the process, and stay consistent.
Dreams come true!
