Have you ever wondered the difference between sensitive and sensitized skin?

- Sensitive skin is genetic, this means that your skin is a little bit weaker than the normal skin type. the skin is exposed to triggers because of an impaired barrier causing it to experience dryness, discomfort and redness.
- While sensitized skin is a skin condition caused by external factors such as your lifestyle, irritants (detergents or makeup) and environmental causes. It can be triggered in anyone regardless of genes.

- Think of our skin like the pavement on the ground. Normal, healthy cement is smooth with no cracks or potholes (lol) Sensitive and sensitized cement has cracks, potholes, and rocks out of place because of the environmental factors (snow, salt, rain, heat etc.) It is sort of similar with our skin.

Using ingredients like:
-Hyaluronic acid, it combines with water to swell and hold moisture in the skin, keeping it nice and plump.
-Niacinamide helps prevent Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) we want water to come and stay in our skin, not give it to the environment.
-Ceramides play a huge part of repairing the skins barrier function. products with this ingredient helps repair some of the bonds in the first layer of our skin causing it to be less irritate.
-Aloe Vera has amazing soothing properties, it is helpful with sunburns and other mild irritations.
