A huge shout out to Madelyn Simpelaar at Simply Equine, LLC! ๐ด A couple times a month, a group of hardworking individuals are able to assist Madelyn with tending to a stable of beautiful horses. This has given this group the opportunity to learn valuable skills and has offered a number of health benefits as well.

After a work accident left Kim S. without employment, her job coach Melani was able to assist her in securing a position at Erie Shore Landing in their cafe. Now, she works in the kitchen where she assists with food prep and cooking (though she ultimately hopes to start baking soon).

What: โDrive Thruโ Trick or Treat Event!
Kid-friendly event with not-so-scary costumes and decorations
When: Wednesday, October 30th from 4:00pm-5:30pm
Where: Roosevelt Childrenโs Centerโtrick or treat stations will be located around the outside of our building & parking lot
Who: Families of Roosevelt students past & present ๐
Additional Info:
The event is โdrive thruโโwe ask that families remain in their cars at all times.
Please bring a bag or bucket for each trick or treater in your vehicle.
There will be an option of candy or non-candy treats at each station.

Today, we celebrate not just 60 years of our organization, but more importantly, 60 years of incredible people who have walked through our doors.
