Friday, November 29, 2024 from 3-6:30 PM. Shop the market for great local gifts and food, then walk over to the square for the annual Licking County Courthouse lighting! Santa will arrive with the Newark

The Newark Fire Department will bring Santa just before 7 PM, and he will help the children magically "light" the colorful Courthouse decorations to officially begin the Christmas season in Licking County.

What does that mean for Licking County residents? - The Reporting Project - Covering Licking County, Ohio A change in SNAP benefits means more people now qualify for grocery benefits — meaning fewer Licking County residents will go to bed, to work or to school hungry.
