We just had a customer move in that told us they stored nearby where there was theft at the facility. The facility had a fence but was ungated and it likely occured in the evening. When you store with us we don't guarantee we are the cheapest but we do believe we provide the most value. Our facility has concrete driveways that are banked in the middle to drain water and snow away as it melts. In addition we provide additional security via electronic gate, 36 4k HD video cameras and over 100 lights that provide coverage to the entire facility. We provide this for less than 10% more than most of the other facilities in the area even while our operating costs to provide this type of quality is significantly higher. And right now, to try us out we even have a half off 4 months promotion. While we can't guarantee against everything as you are storing outside and Michigan weather is unpredictable, we know from personal experience that the worst feeling in the world is opening up your storage unit to see your items damaged from water, pests or stolen. If you’re thinking about storing your boat/RV or truck with us this winter our standard units have a door clearance of 6’11” inches to get in with the ceilings inside closer to 8 feet. Our 14x30 which come with the optional use of an electrical outlet have a 9’11” door clearance with ceiling height as low as 11 feet and 12 feet at its apex.

Speaking of boater safety. Our outdoor parking is gated and well lit year round.
Brooks Township is hosting a Boater Safety Class that will be instructed by the Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office on June 3, 2023. The class will start at 9:00am and will be done around 2:00pm. The class is limited to 25 students.
Michigan law requires anyone born after 12/31/1978 to obtain a boater safety certificate to operate a personal watercraft. Michigan law also requires those born after 6/1/1996 to have a boater safety certificate to operate a vessel powered by more than a 6hp motor.
This class is great for children around 11 years old and older.
Adults are also encouraged to take this class online at www.Michigan.gov/dnr and search for boater safety.
Students must preregister for this class. Follow these instructions to register;
1) Go to michigan.storefront.kalkomey.com
2) Each student taking the class needs to create an account or login if the student already has an account.
3) Search the Boater Safety Education courses for the event at Brooks Township Hall on 06/03/2023 and register for this event. You will receive a confirmation email.

We are expecting to take advance reservations in June and be ready for move-ins in July. If you are looking for a facility that is has 24/7 video surveillance, plenty of lighting and privately gated to keep both you and your items safe let us know.
