County Executive Steve Neuhaus congratulates Diane Fox of Walden on her pool playing prowess!

Fox was recently in Las Vegas, where she was named 2024 Champion of the 9-Ball Shoot Out for her tier. Fox has been in the Hudson Valley American Poolplayers’ Association for over 20 years. Her “home tables” are at Gallery Billiards in Newburgh. In May of 2023, Diane entered the 9 Ball singles tournament and advanced to regionals, held last October. Her victory there led her to the 9 Ball APA Shoot Out World Championship in Vegas last week, where she found herself in the loser’s bracket after two matches. Winning the next four matches brought Fox to the semi-finals, which she also won. Fox ultimately played in the finals on Sunday, May 5th, where she once again was victorious, this time for the Championship!
