handcrafted sterling silver jewelry - made in the USA even!www.silveryeverafter.comhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/silveryeverafter
Nice to have a chance to make some jewelry again! Rose quartz with garnet, dumortite, tourmaline, and tiny sapphires to match a prom dress ❤️
So much fun teaching basic earrings today to a great crew!!
Oh my! After all this time away, I will be teaching an earring class at Wethersfield Continuing Ed this Spring (4/18!). Do you have a thing for bling and want to learn the basics of making your own earrings? Join us!
Well, that's that, I suppose. Just filed my Articles of Dissolution. Just couldn't make the expenses vs. income work (i.e., I lost money by the boatload). I'm still making jewelry but it'll be on a custom basis only. If you need something, please, please contact me here - I'll leave this page up to post the stuff I do make. Thank you everyone for all you've done to support me over the years.
For tomorrow's CONCORA dinner dance! Onyx, prehnite, hypersthene, and vintage glass with a vintage clasp. I really love the misty green of prehnite and my dress for tomorrow has an underlay of almost exactly the same color - excited to use it! Anybody interested in seeing the full ensemble tomorrow?
Amazing what you find when you're cleaning out under your workbench...
Thinkin' chakra jewelry tonight... or maybe a multi-strand spring bracelet.
And the bead slides right off to change it for another bead or two or three!
Pull the chain/cord out, slide the bead up off the little plastic doohickey...
Presto chango troll bead pendant!
I don't want to work; I just want to bang on my metal all day! ;-)
Tim's rosary! Smooth Smoky quartz rounds, rose-carved large smoky quartz rounds, fluted clear quartz rounds, and sterling silver. Each stone is connected to the next by wrapped loops; it takes a lot longer but makes for a much sturdier rosary that will stand up to actual use. :-). Hope he likes it!
is working on a rosary for a young man's confirmation with some seriously beautiful smoky quartz rounds (and I'm not usually that into smoky quartz)!
Really useful that metal working often involves nail files as I trash my nails making jewelry (you mean fingernails aren't supposed to be pliers/screwdrivers/tweezers/miniature crowbars?)!
Sometimes it's really hard to tell if it's worth it.
Sterling silver petals riveted together with copper through an upcycled Scrabble tile on woven cotton cord - whew! My fingers hurt from bumping the radial wheels into them!
Hi everyone! There's something funky going on with the website so if you've been having trouble, I apologize and am trying to get it sorted out. In the meantime, if you're looking for anything in particular, please don't hesitate to email me at info @ silveryeverafter.com and I'll do my best to help you!! Thanks for your patience! (And, on a not-unrelated-note, booze is gratefully accepted at this point... ;-) )
needs to breathe. Breathing is good, right?
is being efficient. Mark the day in red, folks; it's not likely to be repeated for a while! ;-)
And then there's the Crimson Cachet bracelet - crimson lampwork glass and clear quartz with Bali and sterling silver. (Yep, that one's up too, I'm being so efficient, aren't I? Here: http://silveryeverafter.com/bracelets/crimson-cachet)
Snowy Point! Snow quartz point set in a circle of hammered sterling. Cool and crisp. (And available here: http://silveryeverafter.com/necklaces-and-pendants/snowy-point)
I wonder if there's a way to make earrings out of chocolate so I'd always have some around for when desperation strikes...
needs her head examined!
Contrails earrings: sky blue and white hemimorphite with glass on sterling silver. :) Man, I wish I still flew!

But, in the meantime, more earrings!
Looking forward to starting up again with home jewelry parties in the new year! Been awhile but the new jewelry needs loving homes!
I can't believe how much these focal beads look like ice!

Green, the color of verdancy, of life.
Circles, the symbol of unending renewal.
Simple circles of misty green aventurine hang on sterling silver earwires are my tribute to that cycle of life renewal.
