It’s Friday, Dec. 29th - in two days, the doors to our small brick and mortar independent stationery and gift shop will close at 29 East Cedar Street in Newington Center. Over the past 30 years, we have welcomed thousands of customers to our shop. We have become friends and fb friends with so many - we are grateful for your support. We have taken pride in offering quality products throughout the shop. And we have tried our best to offer excellent customer service to all who have walked into our store.

We are excited to transition to our new business model - a design studio concept - offering personalized invitations and stationery. As soon as we have finalized the details, we will post on this fb page. Stay tuned.

A big shout out to my sister, Susan, who in 1993 took the bold step to open a small stationery store in the town we were raised. I joined in 1994 and we formed our business partnership with a simple mission - to be the BEST stationery store in Connecticut. We have fond memories of working with so many on your special and happy occasions. The Paper Station will always be known as that place “where everyone knows your name”.

So when we put the key in the door this Sunday for the last time, please know we are truly grateful for knowing that so many of you embraced my call to Shop Local, Shop Small and to Shop at The Paper Station because it truly makes a difference.

Lastly, the store will be open today, 10:30 until 8 pm and tomorrow, Saturday, Dec 30th from 9-4. Please help us liquidate our remaining inventory and get a chance to say goodbye in person.
