Driver of SUV slams into storefront in Newington The driver of an SUV barreled into a business in Newington overnight.

NEWINGTON, CT - August 22, 2022 -- Due to a unfortunate and serious car accident, the FloorsNow! Showroom at 2516 Berlin Turnpike #4108, Newington, CT, will be closed this morning.

A grey SUV slammed into the building around 12:00am. The Newington Police and EMS were quickly on the scene.

To ensure the safety of our customers and employees, FloorsNow! will be closed today, August 22, 2022. Although the main structure of the building appears unaffected, FloorsNow! is taking every safety precaution and consulting with the Newington building officials before allowing anyone to enter.

ServiceMaster Apple Valley CT is onsite securing the building to prevent any secondary damages. It is anticipated that operations of the store will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

FloorsNow! Outlet is a full-service discount carpet and flooring store operating since 2001.
