It's a beautiful morning in the High Country with all the spring feels! Come stay with us and explore all the area has to offer. We are located in Newland, NC and have all your lodging needs covered from full hookup RV sites to tent sites with water/electricity and fully stocked cabins.

Our pond is stocked annually with rainbow trout from Cable Trout Farms in Elk Park, NC. These trout are USDA certified and disease free. The pond is gravity fed from a mountain top tributary that flows thru the property feeding the Toe River. The water is constantly turning over which creates an optimal environment for trout. Fishing is for registered guests only and $10/fish with 4 max per day.

Small family owned campgrounds still exist! You have to look to find us, as we get hidden by all the large corporately owned properties with the huge advertising budgets. Do not get us wrong, those properties are wonderful in what they have to offer; however, they lose their personal touch and magical camping atmosphere. From the moment you book, you have a direct connection with us as owners, our manager and our new hosts as we are a team of five! We answer the phone, emails, all other messages and respond to each review. We send individualized emails to each of our guests with directions, maps, area attractions and direct numbers to reach us during stays. We roam the property, introduce ourselves and meet each need. A5 is a wonderful FHU site with a firepit at the rear and sounds from the creek below and the trout pond in the front. P1 is a large pull-thru FHU site with unobstructed mountain views and a great firepit and picnic table to take in all the fall colors that the mountains have to offer!
