We will meet this coming Sunday at the Fellowship Hall to celebrate the new Season of Madras Church becoming a Home Church.

Madras is not done serving the community around them…today we are not doing our typical Sunday worship in the building…today we worship service people in need!

And we are just starting!

Join us on June 3rd for our Water Day Event! So many fun activities, music, food, etc!

We had to make a hard decision.. Due to the inclement weather headed our way tomorrow we are going to postpone Water Day until June 3rd. The event will be at the same time (2-5) and we will have all of the same activities. We hope to see you then and pray for sunnier days in the near future!

Looking forward to worshiping with you today! We have a very special time prepared!

Today, during our coffee break time, we share stories, laughs, and tough times; but one of the best parts was that people requested worship songs to sing at that moment.

Madras Church is One of A kind worship experience because we try to reflect and represent every person attending and the one body that represents.

Do you want to ask questions? Do you want to hear from people at Madras Church? Do you want to talk about God, our beliefs, and our vision as a church? Or maybe you are just looking for fellowship, coffee, or communal worship?

All that will happen on Sunday during Madras Church’s Coffee Break.

Once a month, we will be creating a space where we can talk to each other, learn from each other, and with that growth in our understanding of God.

Good Friday, the Friday before Easter, is the day to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary.
Good Friday is an important day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most momentous weekend in the history of the world. Ever since Jesus died and was raised, Christians have proclaimed the cross and resurrection of Jesus to be the decisive turning point for all creation. Paul considered it “of first importance” that Jesus died, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day, following what God had promised in the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3).

Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday): Christ's "mandate" is commemorated on Maundy Thursday — "maundy" being a shortened form of mandatum (Latin), which means "command." It was on the Thursday of Christ's final week before being crucified and resurrected that He said this commandment to His disciples. Jesus and his disciples had just shared what was known as the Last Supper and he was washing their feet when he stated:

"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).

Jesus raised the definition of love to a new and higher standard on this day.
