Caught on Video: Deputies rescue victim from burning car

The quick actions of two Coweta County deputies led to the rescue of a man from a burning car.

The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. on Feb. 1, when deputies responded to a call regarding a burning vehicle in the area of 1320 Highway 154.

Coweta Fire Chief Robby Flanagan praised the deputies for their quick response, adding that seconds made all the difference between life and death.

“We’re grateful for our law enforcement and commend them for their quick actions,” he said. “There’s great teamwork in public safety and they most certainly saved his life.”
