A developer is planning an outlet mall off of Interstate 85 and Poplar Road.

Ben Carter Enterprises announced on its website that Georgia Outlets at Newnan, a 600,000-square-foot, mixed-use development, will include restaurants, shops, and entertainment.

The company “develops and services a mixture of retail properties.” Its website lists Tanger Outlets Savannah, Mall of Georgia in Gwinnett County, Columbus Park South and Columbus Park Crossing as some of its past projects.

Proposed entrances for Georgia Outlets at Newnan are planned for Poplar Road and Newnan Bypass East.
