Happy December! It is our favorite time of year, over here at Ace Home Care!

With winter coming, it's time to prepare yourself and your elderly loved ones for the season. Orange County does not get into the negatives, but colder temperatures and rain put seniors more at risk. Our loved ones are at risk for things such as lowered immunity, the flu, pneumonia, and falls that may lead to hospitalization. It is important to take the steps to prepare for winter - using personal protective equipment (masks, hand sanitizers, gloves) to reduce the spread of illness, staying warm, and having an emergency plan in case of extreme circumstances.

We are seeking Home Care Aides with a positive attitude and a heart for caring for others! You will provide non-medical care to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility.

Position Requirements:

Provide individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, such as ambulation and exercise
Monitor and report changes in patient health status
Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients and lifting, transferring patients
Perform other duties as assigned as well as light housekeeping, meal preparation, or starting laundry after personal care is completed
Possess the physical abilities, including lifting, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions
Qualifications:

ID compliant with I-9 requirements
Negative TB test
Registered Home Care Aide (HCA)
Position Preferences:

Experience in hospice, home health preferred
