I’m BACK!✨I’ve gone through a lot of life changes recently and took some time away from social media to focus on my career, have a baby, and start my own med spa! I’m so excited to share more about my new space with all of you and treat your lovely faces. Let me first take a moment to reintroduce myself:
I am the founder of .aesthetic.retreat 💉I am a board-certified Physician Assistant and an advanced aesthetic injector with a master’s degree from the Western University of Health Sciences.  I truly believe that aesthetic treatments can and should be done beautifully and naturally and have built my practice around this very philosophy.  I specialize in customizing well-rounded treatment plans for each patient in order to elevate natural beauty, refresh the face, and help my patients age gracefully.

I have been in the aesthetic industry for 12 years.  During this time, I have continued to learn, grow, and improve my injection techniques by attending countless industry conferences and trainings.  I have also assisted during the live webinar launch of the Juvéderm Volbella indication for the tear troughs with Medical Institute.

I have a passion for education and dedicate ample time to each patient to discuss all aspects of their aesthetic journey.  Remember, beauty is a marathon, not a sprint.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is the most natural method of rejuvenating the skin by using the plasma portion of the blood that contains platelets (hence the name) and stem cells that act as natural growth factors.

The power of Botox/Dysport 😊 The main thing I want to point out is that she is still able to animate. She has natural movement and can still get mad, look surprised, and squint, but she no longer has the lines when she does so. This is a sign of properly placed product, NOT the number of units. Where I place the units gets a result like this, how many units I use determines how long this result will last! This beauty used 48 units total for all 3 areas 💉

The most common thing I hear when seeing new patients is, “I only want ½ a syringe! I don’t want to look fake or overdone.” Although I am happy to hear that patients realize how bad some of these overdone people look, it’s important to remember that doing more than ½ a syringe won’t actually make you look overdone. When you see scary looking people they have had multiple sessions of filler over and over again trying to meet unrealistic perfection and usually either an inexperienced injector who doesn’t know where to properly place product, or an unethical injector who is willing to take their money.

If you look at this picture, you can see how little product even 4 syringes is. Now imagine trying to take that little teaspoon and put that in your cheeks, lips, and chin and hoping to see a difference. Ain’t gonna happen.

Do your research and know your injector’s education, background, and before and after work to be sure you know you can trust their recommendations and their technique. You should walk out looking 🔥! Your friends should comment how great you look, but not be able to tell what you had done 😊

Lips are by far my favorite procedure to perform! Look at how this syringe of gave her a natural plump, hydrated the lips, and relaxed the mouth area as a whole! on point! 💋

Please don’t be scared of a full syringe in your lips. This is one full syringe of our highest plumping lip filler. Multiple syringes and poor injection technique are what lead to duck and p**n star lips, not a full syringe in the hands of a qualified and skilled injector 😊👍🏼
