NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA) will hold a Public Hearing on June 13, 2024 at 11:30 AM in the Multi-Purpose Room of the PAA Newport News office at 739 Thimble Shoals Blvd, Suite 1008, Newport News, VA 23606 or virtually via Teams. The purpose of this public hearing is to solicit public comment on the 2025 Area Plan for Aging Services, including but not limited to:
• The most pressing service needs of Older Adults and Unpaid Caregivers on the Peninsula and shortcomings in the current services available.
• Populations and/or geographical areas you feel have been underserved by existing services in our area and suggestions on how to better serve these communities.

On behalf of the Peninsula Agency on Aging, Inc. (PAA), the Vice President of Community Services will accept SEALED BIDS for MEAL PREPARATION SERVICE until 4:30 p.m. Monday June 10, 2024. The bids will be on the following services:
CONGREGATE MEALS (PREPLATED MON-FRI)
HOME DELIVERED MEALS (PREPLATED MON-FRI)
450 to 550 noontime meals per day required prepared in accordance with the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services standards.
