Our hometown, Newport News, is a vibrant and wonderful city and now the whole nation is finding out. Last night, City of Newport News, VA - Government was honored as an All-America City! President Kelly will represent the university at a city celebration on Tuesday.

Head Coach Keith Parr Wins 700th as Captains Open NCAA Super Regional with 6-0 Victory at Rowan - Christopher Newport University Athletics Christopher Newport University Head Coach Keith Parr registered his 700th career victory Thursday afternoon, as the third-ranked Captains won their 19th consecutive game. CNU beat Rowan University, 6-0, in the first game of a best-of-three NCAA Super Regional series at Rowan Softball Stadium.

Today our softball and baseball teams celebrate the grand opening of their new indoor facility: the Vic Zodda Training Center. Mason Klajnbart, Vic’s great grandson, took the first swing!
