Many of you not only remember, fondly, Dr. O'Neal, but were also his patients for years. Since it has been almost 6 years since he retired, we thought it would be not just appropriate but appreciated for us to share an update with all of you on his current status. We are truly grateful for Dr. O and his wonderful wife, Kim, and their beautiful family and those of us who were privileged to work with him still miss his presence in our office every day. We miss his infectious smile and his always kind words and his incredible medical experience and advice. We always will. So, what follows is an update directly from Dr. O'Neal as dictated to his wife, Kim. We hope many of you read it.

Update from Dr. O'Neal
Kim and I would like to thank everyone for their cards and well wishes. I finished my cancer treatment several years ago, but unfortunately, it has spread to my spine, and I have decided to go on hospice care in my home. I will never forget the kindness and special memories many of you have shared. I still read the cards and letters, and I miss you all dearly.

Sincerely,
J Drew ONeal, MD

We want to let you all know that any comments posted and/or private messages sent to the OPFP Facebook, Instagram, and/or Messenger apps will be shared with Dr. O and his family. Also, you may send emails to [email protected] if desired. Additionally, we will pass on any cards, letters, etc. mailed or brought to the office. We know that all his patients meant so much to him and that many of you would love to share encouraging words with him during this difficult time. We are positive that he will appreciate each and every one. Thank you so much for your kindness and prayers, and we are so thankful that you are all members of our Oyster Point Family Practice family!

🎼🎢 (Please sing to the tune.)πŸŽ™πŸŽ΅
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas all over our office. There's a Christmas tree πŸŽ„ in the lobby, one in the lounge too, and ornaments galore with fun in store. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The doors are all decked out. Each one is very unique, created by a team. They really make our office shine and gleam. It's door decorating time again. Which one do you think should win? So choose your favorite one and vote once each day, and please enjoy all the beauty on display. 🎢

That's right, folks, it's the most wonderful time of the year!! Time for the 10th Annual OPFP Deck the Doors Contest!! The song explains the rules, but here they are again. You may vote only once each day for one door. Vote with likes πŸ‘πŸ» on each door's picture or by commenting on either the picture or the general post by entering the number of the door you want to vote for. Voting begins now and closes at 10:30AM on Friday, December 22nd. Thanks, everyone, and don't forget to VOTE!! πŸŽ„πŸšͺ

By the way, the order they appear in should reflect the number on the doors.

It is with a heavy heart that we must say farewell to one of our Nurse Practitioners, Amberlee Moore. Amberlee joined OPFP a few years ago and she has become an integral part of our Oyster Point Family Practice family. Amberlee had planned to be a member of our Medical Team for a much longer time, but the US Air Force has other plans for her and her family. Her husband is being transferred overseas and their entire family will be going with him. Although we will deeply miss her, we are thankful for her husband, Amberlee and their family and their service to our Nation. We wish them well on their journey and excellent luck in all their future endeavors. No matter where she may be, Amberlee and her family will always remain a part of our very special OPFP Family. Farewell, Amberlee. We love you and you will be missed.😒
