As we have closed the Saundra Cherry for Mayor Campaign - Thank you to all!
It has been an honor to “serve” the residents of Newport News.
We know that God does all things well.
The prayer in the race has always been that I would be obedient to the call and desire to hear God say, ‘well done.’
Be assured that I hold fast to my faith and trust in God. He is the author and finisher of my faith.
A new chapter starts today in my life, with absolutely, no regret.
We know these scriptures very well:
Romans 8:28
Philippians 1:6
Ephesians 3:20
I Corinthians 2:9
Jeremiah 29:11
Let it be known near and far that I am well and my prayer has been always that His will be done.
I understand Psalm 75:6-7 and know that there is more to life to live.
I truly with my heart appreciate your prayers and support through the years. I have been blessed to be able to represent Newport News and Kingdom, and you were a great part of that.
I remain a servant of the Lord, sent to do His bidding.
Romans 8:37.
