A little offseason overhaul of one of our skid steer loaders. Amazing what some new parts and a fresh coat of paint can do to a 20 year old machine. Thanks to for spearheading the project. More pictures to come!

My Apology to the Construction Industry

linkedin.com I was dead wrong about the construction industry, and I'm sorry. I grew up with a family in which almost none of my relatives worked in construction.

We were privileged to attend the grand opening of the new Apple store in Chicago. What an amazing project to be a part of. Thank you too to Francisco Vargas, Gerardo Navarrete, and the whole Zera Construction Crew for all of your hard work and dedication to this amazing project!

We had a perfect day for our picnic yesterday. We are so thankful for our hard workers, their families and all that they do for Zera Construction. Your dedication to and ownership of your work is amazing!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

It looked and felt like fall yesterday, but it was a great day to pour. These guys make it look easy! Thanks to Ozinga Ready Mix and Andersen Concrete Pumping for the great service!

Today we took part of the Zera Construction Team ( 17 Strong! ) to Willowcreek Northshore to pack tomato seeds for the Celebration of Hope. The goal for all of the Willow Campuses is to pack 1,000,000 family seed packs that will yield over one billion pounds of food! The seeds will travel to South Africa to make a significant impact on those struggling with hunger in this region. We are thankful for our awesome crew and their hearts to serve!

Our foreman / office Christmas Party last night was a great success!! We learned how to make an authentic pasta dinner with passion!! Thanks to all that attended, and all of your hard work. Thanks too to Chef Mario and Culinary Skills Academy for a memorable evening!

Who needs a flagpole?? We have one but this is so much more fun!!
