Aeration involves perforating the soil with holes to allow air, water and nutrients to pe*****te the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. The main reason for aerating is to alleviate soil compaction.
Lawn overseeding is a great option for homeowners whose lawns have suffered from drought stress, insect or disease damage, or that show other signs of decline such as thin sparse grass, bare patches or lack of color.
Overseeding your lawn with newer, improved types of turfgrass is often the best way to thicken the lawn, and improve its health and appearance. The newer turfgrass varieties are better able to resist damage from drought, diseases and lawn damaging insects. At Apex we only use blue label grass seed guaranteed to be w**d free. As we have been swamped these last few weeks with rain, I did manage to stop and take a few pictures. We are still taking on new lawn clients in Nixa and Ozark.

We are running a special through the end of January. If you call and schedule mulch installation before the end of January we will deliver and install any color for $80 a square yard. A friendly reminder from Apex Outdoor Services LLC: If you see these bags hanging from your trees, now is the time to remove them. This is a bagworm, full of eggs ready to hatch in the Spring. If you let them hatch, they will defoliate the tree or plant they are on, causing significant damage. The bagworm is primarily found in evergreens but can be found on any tree.

Just wanted to give everyone an update as 2021 is a huge year for the business. I have been working on rebranding Nielsen's Lawn Care LLC to Apex Outdoor Services. The decision was made to exemplify that we do more than just lawn care.
