Open Gym only 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, No coached classes or childcare
Kids class this summer on Thursdays with coach Haven Haymes ❤️😊 $5 per child, per time. See you tomorrow! With an adult membership or adult drop in for the day.
Having your cake and eating it too!?! This can be a challenge for women. Especially for ones with autoimmune issues, fluctuations in hormones, low vitamin levels (D, B12, calcium and iron) and aging. Add in complicated schedules, work, children, interrupted sleep and a healthy life can seem impossible. Remember that staying the course on staying healthy doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the special times, occasional treats and that missing a day or even longer doesn’t mean you can’t restart. Be kind to yourself, your journey, like mine might be a long one. Keep looking and fighting for your health. Find your people, ones who listen and encourage. Many of mine are people at the gym, LIFT GYM. They keep me accountable. Thank you to a dear friend who gifted me a gluten free cake for my birthday 💕
Hey Ladies, open gym times are a great way to try out a new program and learn new things without the pressure of staying up with a class. Most of us know that strength training (with free weights, weight machines, or resistance bands) can help build and maintain muscle mass and strength. What many of us don’t know is that strong muscles lead to strong bones. And strong bones can help minimize the risk of fracture due to osteoporosis. We have a variety of women trying out new programs and techniques during our 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM open gym times. Come by and see if one of these times might be just what you need to start your fitness journey 💪🏼❤️

Happy 5 year anniversary, LIFT GYM! We have been blessed by so many amazing people who made the decision to be a part of this journey.
Let’s talk new habits instead of challenges. Challenges normally have end dates, while habits once formed, good and bad can last a life time. Some studies have shown that it takes anywhere from 15 days to 2 months of consistency to make something a habit. With that in mind we will have an accountability coloring page at our front desk for you, to help you with a daily visual action on your journey to good habits. What good habits are you working on?
Some examples of good habits you can work on are:
-Drinking more water, try adding in electrolytes
-Getting active
-Setting a regular sleep time
-Eating fresh, Whole Foods
-Working on mobility
Etc.
We will also be working with some of our members who provide health related services to share in their knowledge of one healthy habit each month you should be working on, throughout this year. Happy New Year, one that hopefully incorporates good habits!

Memorial Day Murph will be the WOD for May 29th, @ 9:00 AM. Childcare for children under 5 yrs old will be available this hour. This is the only class we will have that day. The gym will close at 11:00 AM. Please bring food to share after Murph as we join together as a gym family. 🇺🇸❤️
