It’s almost that time of year……

Trying to do a better job of documenting life on the ranch…the good, bad, and ugly, lol….
Tonight a gorgeous sunset and working on a cranky tractor after dark…a busy night, a beautiful sunset, and a dinner not eaten until almost 8pm.

On top of the three calves born last week, we have two pretty cute baby goats born today!!

It’s always sad to say goodbye to our animals when they leave the Ranch. We sold our Bull (Steve) today. He served the herd well and was a good protector for his herd. Good luck with your next family Steve!

Feeeding hay early in the morning and look what I found. Welcome to the Ranch! These are the precious moments of having a Ranch.

It was all fun and games until her momma found me loving on her baby. I wish I had it on video but I had to put the phone away to run for my life when she noticed me. 😂. Picture momma about 100 yards away. She turns and looks at me. I stand up. We had a moment were we looked at each other and we were deciding “are we going to do this”… I start to walk off and baby stand up, follows me and starts hollering. Momma immediately starts running and yelling… followed by 2 other momma cows… with the eye of the tiger heading right towards me!! I took off running to the tractor and barely made it in time. Then they stood there for about five minutes giving me the crazy eyes!!!! 😂
