Meet Erica: A Story of Determination and Triumph 🌟
Erica, one of the incredible mothers in our Teen Parent Connection (TPC) program, achieved a major milestone by graduating from phlebotomy school! This accomplishment is a significant step forward in her journey to building a better life for herself and her daughter. Her success is the result of her unwavering determination, along with the guidance and support of the Teen Parent Connection team.
With TPC’s coaching, Erica not only earned her phlebotomy certification but also secured her driver’s license and stable housing for her and her daughter. Throughout every challenge, the TPC staff has been there to provide encouragement and celebrate each step of her progress.
Erica’s journey reminds us that with the right support and perseverance, anything is possible. Her story continues to inspire us, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible young mother. 💙

Until next year… stay spooky, CCS fam! 🎃✨
📣 Tip Tuesday 📣
Help individuals develop the confidence to express their needs by giving them choices and respecting their preferences. For example, ask "Would you like to take a walk or listen to music when you feel upset?"
Teen Parent Connection: Empowering Teen Parents to Thrive 🌿
At Teen Parent Connection, we believe that every young parent deserves the support they need to thrive—not just for themselves, but for their children too. Through personalized guidance and community resources, we help teen parents navigate the unique challenges they face with confidence and care.
From parenting skills and educational support to access to healthcare and childcare, we’re here to empower every young parent to build a brighter future for their family. Because every parent and child deserves the chance to grow in a nurturing environment. 💙
Help us spread the word—there’s always support when it’s needed most.

We appreciate everything you do! 💙
“I am the best person I can be.”
Since day one, this has been our mission at CCS. Whether it’s a child, teen, or adult, our goal is to equip and encourage each individual in our programs to become the best version of themselves. 🌟
We love seeing these amazing individuals reach new heights in their healing journeys. Everyone’s path is unique, but we celebrate each and every milestone with joy and pride!
“Resilience is more available to people curious about their own line of thinking and behaving. The more we learn about ourselves, the more resilient we become.” – Brené Brown
We grow the most when we step outside of our comfort zone. Adventure Youth offers that opportunity: a chance to learn something new, experience a different pace of life, and discover the power to change and overcome within yourself. Each youth who comes through AYP learns they have a resilience that will stay with them for life. 🌲🏕️

🎃 Final, FINAL call for Trunk or Treat donations! 🎃
A HUGE thank you to everyone who’s already contributed, especially our amazing Board member Chris Dunn for donating candy, snacks, and decorated trunks! 🙌
We’ve had so much interest, but we still need a few more items to make this event unforgettable for our children, teens, and adults:
🧃 Single-Serve Drinks (water bottles, juice boxes, lemonade)
🚗 Decorated Trunks (costumes encouraged!)
If you’d like to help us spread some Halloween cheer, contact Brittany White at [email protected] for details!
Thank you for helping us bring joy to our incredible community! 🧡
Tip Tuesday: Set Realistic Expectations 🎯
Be mindful of setting goals and expectations that are achievable based on each individual’s unique needs and abilities. Break down tasks into smaller, manageable steps, and celebrate each success along the way. This builds confidence and encourages continued effort.
🌿 Honoring Indigenous Peoples' Day 🌿
Today, we honor the rich cultures, traditions, and resilience of Indigenous peoples across the country. At CCS, we recognize the importance of diversity and inclusion in every community we serve, and we stand in solidarity with Indigenous families, children, and communities.
As we work to support healing and growth for all, we are reminded of the strength and wisdom Indigenous peoples bring to our shared journey toward resilience, equity, and empowerment. Together, let’s commit to listening, learning, and uplifting these voices today and every day.
🎃 Final Call for Trunk or Treat Donations! 🎃
We’re just ONE WEEK away from our special Trunk or Treat event for the amazing children, teens, and adults we serve! Help us make this day unforgettable by donating some much-needed items:
🥨 Single-pack snacks (crackers, chips, cookies)
🧃 Drinks (water bottles, juice boxes)

🌈 On National Coming Out Day, we celebrate the courage of those who live authentically. At CCS, we’re committed to creating safe and supportive environments where LGBTQ+ youth feel empowered to be themselves, every day of the year. Let’s stand together in love and acceptance. 💕
Adventure Youth: Growing Through Experience
Adventure is where growth happens! Our Adventure Youth Program offers transformative outdoor experiences that challenge and empower youth. From camping trips to team-building activities, we create a space where kids can develop resilience, build confidence, and discover their potential. Because every adventure is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger together. 🌲🏕️
🎃 Help Us Make Trunk or Treat a Success! 🎃
We’re gearing up for our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat and still need a few key items to make this event special for the children, teens, and adults in our CCS community! This is a closed event, and we’re asking for donations to help us make it extra fun:
🥨 Single-pack snacks (crackers, chips, cookies)
🧃 Drinks (water bottles, juice boxes)
🚗 Decorated trunks (costumes encouraged!)
If you’d like to contribute, please email Brittany White at [email protected] for details. 📧
Thank you for helping us bring joy to our community! 🧡
Tip Tuesday: Model Calm Behavior 😌
Children and adults often mirror the behaviors they see. In challenging situations, demonstrate a calm, non-anxious presence, patience, and positive coping strategies yourself. This can help de-escalate situations and teach them how to handle stress more effectively. Doing this will help both yourself and those you care for.
Everyone deserves a chance to thrive. 🌿
At CCS, we believe each individual in our care deserves the best chance at becoming the most independent version of themselves they can be. Through our services and community-based support, we equip and guide every child, teen, and adult with the skills and resources they need to work toward their goals. If it’s holding their first part-time job or learning to use their words to communicate their needs, we celebrate and champion each milestone, because we believe every success is worth shouting form the rooftops. 🎉
Don’t forget, we’re still collecting candy donations! If you’d like to help, please email [email protected] for more information. 🍭
🌟 Happy World Teacher’s Day! 🌟
Today, we celebrate the incredible educators who dedicate their lives to shaping futures. At Creative Community Services, we’re constantly inspired by teachers—both inside and outside the classroom—who support children, teens, and adults in therapeutic foster care, developmental disabilities programs, and more.
From providing stability to nurturing growth, teachers play a vital role in helping our youth overcome challenges and build resilience. Your dedication does more than just educate—it uplifts and empowers.
To all the teachers, mentors, and caregivers in our community and beyond: Thank you for making a difference every day. 💙
