Our Norfolk Sixpence program was fortunate to be the beneficiary of the Handcuffs vs. Hoses fundraiser softball game today. We greatly appreciate the donations of diapers and wipes as it is a resource that greatly benefits the families we serve! One of our Sixpence kiddos even got to throw out the first pitch♡

The Handcuffs vs. Hoses softball game is scheduled for this Sunday September 18th at 1:00 p.m. at TaHa - ball field #3! Norfolk Sixpence was chosen as the beneficiary for the event and we couldn’t be happier! Come out and enjoy some fun while cheering both teams on!

A new survey finds 1 in 3 families in the United States experiences "diaper need" — difficulty providing enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler consistently clean, dry, and healthy. Norfolk Sixpence was chosen as the beneficiary of the event, so please bring diapers and/or wipes as you come cheer both teams on!

Thank you Culver's and everyone who stopped by Culver's last Tuesday night for supporting our Sixpence Diaper Drive during Culver's Share Night. We could not continue helping our families with diapers and pullups without your help!

Making Mondays Kits To Go starts June 6! Every Monday, three different kits are available at the library: a craft kit for kids ages 4+, a STEM kit for kids ages 6+, and a Teen/Adult Take & Make Kit. Kits are available at the service desk, Children's desk, and the drive-up window. While supplies last.

Hello Everyone! Norfolk Sixpence is starting to fill spots for our 2022 Diaper Drive. If you are interested in hosting a diaper drive, having a staff jeans day, or would like to partner with us for our diaper drive, please reach out! Without your help, we are not able to provide diapers to the families who need them!

The Norfolk Sixpence staff want to thank YOU, community of Norfolk, for your generosity in 2021. The second year of our Diaper Drive is in the books and we were able to help so many families with diapers when they needed them because of YOU! Many area businesses and organizations signed up to host a week long diaper drive, participate in jeans days, and drive-through food fundraisers for the Norfolk Sixpence program Diaper Drive. Our totals for the 2021 year was 119 packs/boxes of diapers/pullups/wipes and $2,025.13 to help purchase diapers/pullups/wipes for families in need. THANK YOU!
