Last week Dr. Olivia Newby (former president of the Virginia Nurses Association) joined the Governorโs ceremonial signing of HB 971.
This bill reduces the transition to practice period for NPs from 5 to 3 years and will be effective July 1. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
