As we enjoy the weekend cooking for our friends and community, I can’t help but think of the countless victims of the recent hurricanes. We are so privileged to continue to come home after a long day of work to an air conditioned house and food on the table. At the end of the day, regardless of our daily troubles, we are still breathing. That’s something I know we all take for granted so much nowadays. But the least we can do is continue to keep the victims and their families in our thoughts and prayers.

That being said, thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this past weekend!! 🍟🌭🍔

DUDE… WALSH SHOWED UP. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Man.. over 350 mozzarella sticks, 80 burgers, 400 Mac & Cheese bites, and 415 chicken tenders later… the storm finally passed ⛈️. The 93° weather kept the trailer a cool 124° with the fans on full blast. Thank you to our dedicated crew that punched out over 215 orders in less than 2 hour ⏰. We are so grateful for the incredible organizers of this event and cannot thank them enough for allowing us to attend!

For our top and most favorite event of the year, the Alive Music Festival takes the crown. Working 49 hours in 3 days takes your body to the next limit. Let’s just say that I slept good at night (the handful of hours I did get). Yesterday morning, we woke up to the news of the FreedomFest having a delayed start at 5pm instead of 12pm. With the forecast showing thunderstorms, a tornado watch, flood watch, and rain all night long, we were sure that the event would be cancelled.

As much doubt as we had, we prepared for the worst. With multiple trips to our food supplier for more food, we were sure that we were ready. However, unknown to us, there would be NOTHING that could prepare us for last night.

From windows open to windows closed, there was a 50 foot line all night long. With over 600 people served in just 4 hours, it’s safe to say we had our butts handed to us.

Our biggest appreciation to the City of Green for their hard work to make such an amazing event. Everything about last night was AWESOME! And thank YOU to our customers who gave countless compliments and patience in our line. See you all next week for a double header in North Canton on the 4th of July! 🍔🌭🍟🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Due to severe weather forecast, Green’s FreedomFest, sponsored by the Green Auto Mile, begins at 5 pm today, June 29 at Boettler Park. Activities will include Fireworks (10:15 pm), live music (8:30 pm), food trucks (5 pm – 10 pm) & Inflatables (5 pm- 9 pm).
