But did you know that lower back pain could be the direct result of tight hip flexors? What are Hip Flexors?
A hip flexor is a muscle or a group of muscles that flex or bend the hip.

Tightness in the muscles of your hip flexors, whether from sitting for too long or running regularly for exercise, can cause lower back issues. Yet, there are ways to prevent lower back pain chiropractic adjustments, stretching and strengthening your thighs, hips, and glutes.

A good way to test whether or not you have tight hip flexors is to try this exercise:
• Lie flat on your back
• Bring both knees in towards your chest
• Stay a hold of your right knee as you straighten your left knee, lowering it towards the ground as far as you can
• Repeat with on the other side

If you’re unable to lower your extended leg to the ground, your hip flexors are considered tight and you need help.

Shining a light on black businesses Shoutout to these two gentlemen Dr. Milton Hudson and Dr. Daniel Middleton. These two men are the owners and operators of ChiroSense chiropractic practice.

Dr. Milton Hudson Started off at Florida A&M University where he graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology and moved forward to Sherman College of Chiropractic located in Spartanburg, SC. After graduating in 2004 Dr. Hudson started his own practice in 2005 and successfully operated this practice for 10 years. He has now landed at ChiroSense.

Dr. Daniel Middleton Started off at Winthrop University and then finished off his Undergraduate degree at Allen University. After graduating he began his chiropractic journey at Life University and completed his education at Texas Chiropractic College. After completing his education he worked as a lead Chiropractor at several practices and now has landed at ChiroSense.
