One of our favorite parts about NAMI Walks...the dogs!
Dogs can have positive effects on mental health!
They reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.
They ease loneliness.
They encourage exercise.
They provide emotional comfort, support, and companionship.
Service dogs can help alleviate symptoms in veterans with PTSD.
This is your sign to get a dog!
