Nuance is needed. Commitment to these schools, teachers and students is needed.

We Oppose the Innovators Charter School Please sign our petition in opposition to the proposed Innovators Charter School. The school will siphon more than $10 million from the public schools in New Bedford and Fall River, resulting in cuts to staff and programs in the public schools that serve the vast majority of students in our region.

Whether to be a substitute teacher or a paraprofessional? That is the question! Please tell me the benefits of each if you know them. Substitute teaching has the benefit of variety and novelty in choosing your job for the day.
Being a "para" has consistency and benefits going for it.
Crunching the financial numbers is important for all of us.
In the end Both Subs and Paras are a very low priority for School Systems and this is unlikely to change much.
