🎸🎤 Exciting news! G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento (GRS) is bringing their music empowerment program to Del Paso Heights from July 8-13 at Robertson Community Center! C.O.M.E PLAY camp is for youth ages 7-17 who reside in Del Paso Heights.

Join us for a week of music and fun! Camp runs from 11:30am to 4pm, Monday - Friday, with a special all-camp performance on Saturday at 11am. Choose from vocals, guitar, bass, drums, or keyboards. Form a band, write a song, and perform a show—all in one week! No experience is necessary, and all instruments and materials are provided. Enjoy fun workshops like screen-printing, yoga + meditation, and self-defense, along with special guest performances. Lunch will be provided for campers.

✨ Tuition is flexible, and no potential camper will be turned away due to lack of funds. However, space is limited, so sign up soon!

May is Water Safety Month, and the Y is inviting Sac City Unified families for a FREE swim in the YMCA indoor, heated pool! Make sure your family is prepared to swim anywhere/anytime, but especially this year because local rivers will be running colder, faster, and higher due to the Sierra snowmelt runoff.

On Sunday, May 26, from 2-4pm, come for a family swim and learn important water safety tips for all ages, including swim lesson information, how to designate a water watcher, and learn to properly fit and size a lifejacket.
