Yasss, I hit my 3lb weight loss goal for the week! Making my total loss 40lbs overall and 6lbs over the last 4 weeks. 🙌🏼
Losing weight isn’t a race, it’s a marathon and as long as you keep pressing no matter what, your hard work will pay off!!

Good morning!!! We have two weeks before our 25 Day Get Fit Challenge!! This is the jump rope challenge that we will be doing and I'm getting a head start!! 1000 jumps for 7 days!!! WE GOT THIS!!
The jump rope counter I'm using is awesome and I'll definitely recommend it. It counts your jumps and calories burned. I'll place the link right below so you can purchase and get prepared.
I'll also be doing a video this week with all of the products and equipment you may need so stay tuned!!!

It’s weigh in time!!! Drum rolll... I loss 4 ounces last week... YASSSSS💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
This is a total weight loss of 3lbs in two weeks! 💪🏼
Why am I so happy??? Because I know that every ounce I lose is getting me closer to my goal. Life happens and since this is a lifestyle I know I will eventually get to my goal because I’m never stopping! 🙅🏽♀️
Last week my back was broke down and I was unable to workout(hence the lack of steps I took in the challenge). Oh and ladies flow decided to come as well so this is what I mean by life happens!🤦🏽♀️
I’m going to celebrate my 4ounce loss and I’m getting back in the gym and going beast mode!!
It doesn’t matter what the scale say what matters is how you feel and that you DONT STOP 🛑

Tonight we decided to make a healthy alternative dessert!
Banana sundaes🎉🎉
Items needed:
Organic bananas, bamboo skewers, Semi Sweet melted chocolate chips, Non-Dairy Almond Milk, Reddi whip and your favorite toppings (sprinkles, nuts)
Freeze bananas for two hours after inserting the bamboo sticks, evenly spread melted semi sweet chips on bananas, freeze 30min then add reddi whip and your favorite toppings!!🍒🍓🍌😋
Calorie count for this deliciousness is around 150-170cal depending on toppings. ✅
Compared to an ice cream sundae from McDonald’s which ranges from 284-350cal❌

Ya girl ran into the biggest obstacle over the weekend. I injured my lower back and can barely get out of bed😔
Talk about an obstacle....
I wasn’t able to meal prep like I usually do, I can’t go to the gym, I can’t run around with my kids or cook and worse of all It’s that time of the month and all I want is chocolate and hot Cheetos 😩
For someone who struggles with emotional eating, these obstacles are enough to have me spiraling back into old habits. I would be stuffing my face with a 2pc spicy from Popeyes, eating an lce cream snickers, and a big bag of Hot Cheetos with a Diet Pepsi on the side. Do I have any witnesses??✋🏼
This time around is different. Through prayer and a lot of self reflection I’m learning to have power over my emotions. ❤️ I’m learning that just like a drug food is only a temporary fix and instead of feeling better I always end up feeling worse and craving more.🤦🏽♀️ Most of all I learned that this isn’t the relationship I want to have with food.❌
This week I’m choosing to have control over my emotions and see the bigger picture. I’m not going to let this obstacle deter me from reaching my goals. No way.. No how🙅🏽♀️

Story time: So I was out and about today and I knew I wouldn’t be home for lunch. Welp my stomach started growling and a sista had to get something to eat. Being in this situation is the worse because there isn’t many healthy drive thru options.
Y’all know I’m all about making small healthy changes. So I opted for The Habit and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrap, hold the fries! It was everything😋
I encourage everyone to find ways to make even the smallest change this weekend! Every small change will lead you to your overall goal!💪🏼

Just because we’re changing our lifestyle doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice our favorite foods-Yayyy!!!🎉
All we have to do is make small changes! Here’s just a few suggestions!💡
*Lettuce wraps instead of chips or tortillas (my favorite❤️)
* Make your own taco seasoning instead of using store bought (there’s so much salt in those seasoning packs 😬)
*Replace ground beef with ground turkey, chicken, or shrimp
* Try making a low carb taco bowl using cauliflower rice
*Make your own fresh salsa, or use low fat sour cream
