Our Family Has Been enjoying great foods for a long time cooked by my Mother Clara Louise Newton Robertson She expired me to get into cooking she would say SON SIT AROUND HERE LONG ENOUGH YOU WILL NOT NEED ANYONE TO COOK FOR YOU. The kitchen smell like heaven you could smell her food from a block away I had to learn how to cook and I did. My first job was Burger King i did everything they tried very hard to make me quit but I kept on coming everyday working hard inside and outside looking for another job in the process and that other job landed down the street from Burger King My brother was hired as the assistant manager of Bobs Big Boys he hired me as his cook I loved that job fast pace great chicken free food great money back then and from there I open several places like Kings Table Buffet Cask n Cleaver Tony Romas A Place for Ribs I met a Few Great friends there Allen Hamblin and TJ Sharffe friends still til this day. The Rest is History open the first restaurant called Linda's Place First Restaurant to bring chicken & Waffles in the City of Bakersfield California we have a great menu we have had this menu for a long time Best fried chicken you have ever had Best BBQ You will ever have we try new things everyday right now we are working on Vegan Meals we now have Vegan Burgers Vegan Combos Vegan Hot Spicy Links Vegan Meatloaf and will bring more as we keep creating great dishes. We like small places outside cooking outside eating and drinking we want you to feel at home when you come to ITS LIT BBQ PLACE. See ya when you get here.
