Here is ALL the juicy info regarding our ✨NEW✨ mini classes!!
(We made y’all wait long enough, didn’t we? 😜)

Starting in August 2024 (NEXT WEEK! Woo hoo!) we will FINALLY begin hosting classes!
Our very first class will be-
‘Crystals & Stones 101’!
🎉🎉🎉

This class will be an informational “crash course” regarding the whole concept of Metaphysics and the science behind ‘crystal healing’, commonly confused and/or misunderstood words and phrases, the cultural significance of crystals and stones throughout history and legend, and a few traditional techniques and practices to help everyone understand how to utilize them in everyday life. There will also be several open Q & A opportunities during each class where we will do our best to answer any questions directly from our class members!

Our very first ‘Crystals & Stones 101’ class will be held Monday, August 5th, from 2:00pm-3:00pm(ish).
Seats are available for purchase starting RIGHT NOW!

All upcoming classes will be held on Mondays, as announced, right here at The STONE Maiden, and will be led in-person by both Toni and Shawna! ☺️

There will be 12 seats available for each individual class (just because that’s how many chairs we’ve decided will fit comfortably inside the store 😆),and those 12 seats will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis!
If more than 12 seats are purchased in any one week, any “overflow” seats will apply to the next Monday for an identical class.

❗️When you purchase a seat for any of our classes, we will let you know at time of purchase exactly which class your seat is reserved for and the exact date and time your class will be held❗️

Each week we will post on Facebook and in store if there are any openings for the next upcoming class, so be sure to check back with us regularly for availability!
We will also be offering several more classes regarding other subjects in the future- like Candles, Essential/Ritual Oils, Herbs, Etc- so be sure to stay tuned for future announcements regarding those classes as well!

Now, y’all don’t fret about the whole “availability” thing! If we see later on that a certain class is in high demand, we will try our best to help everyone be able to attend the class that interests them!

Solar Eclipses have long been associated with darkness, introspection, and transformation. Today’s post is all about one of the most well-known and widely accepted good luck charms in history:
The Horseshoe!

The true origin of the belief that a Horseshoe is “lucky” isn’t exactly known, but many historians will say that the horseshoe became a symbol of luck when 8th century Chaldeans thought its crescent shape represented various moon goddesses who were said to protect their followers against bad luck and curses of the evil eye, and began using Horseshoes as charms and talismans for blessings and good luck.

Others believe that Horseshoes earned their title as “lucky” in 969 AD, when legend tells of St. Dunstan, the patron saint of blacksmiths in the Catholic Church, tricking the devil. Several different versions of this legend exist, but all versions tell of St. Dunstan nailing a Horseshoe to the Devil’s own cloven hoof with great force, causing the Devil extreme pain. Afterward, the Devil grew fearful of Horseshoes, and swore to never enter a threshold with one nailed above its entrance. Thus, a lucky charm believed to ward off evil was born!

Even the basic metal makeup of a Horseshoe is believed to contribute to its symbolic power. Most early horseshoes were made of iron, which is not only a very strong and durable metal, but is also believed to carry its own mystical powers. Iron has magnetic capabilities, runs abundantly through human bodies and is essential for good health, and is believed by several cultures to help keep mischievous fairy-folk and other forms of potentially troublesome nature spirits at bay. Legend also states that Witches, even the most powerful ones, were fearful of iron, and their hate for iron-made horseshoes was so great that they chose to take flight on simple broomsticks instead of riding horses for transportation.
Seems the “Lucky” Horseshoe is good for more than just luck- don’t you agree?
