Our client was charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, Attempted Sexual Battery with Serious Bodily Injury and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer. After an extremely contentious 5 day trial, where every piece of evidence was contested, the jury was able to see that our client was only guilty of a simple misdemeanor battery.

Them: DNA and a confession? You better plea him out.
Martin County? They’re going to give him the max.

Us: Albert doesn’t belong in prison.

Jury: Albert is NOT GUILTY.

Congratulations to Associate Attorneys, Conrad Clifton Esq. And Giancarlo Casanova Esq. on completing the first 2023 Rier Jordan PA trial, and ending it with a bang.

Our brilliant attorneys were able to secure a judgement of acquittal on Count 2: Carrying conceal firearm, which ultimately led to the State to dismiss, on day 2 of trial, Count 1: Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

We are very proud of these young and talented attorneys which never backed down and were able to get justice for our client!

During his tenure at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, Conrad’s efforts resulted in numerous acquittals for clients charged with crimes spanning from misdemeanors to felony charges, including first degree premeditated murder.
