We’re excited to announce AFTER LANDING, our 13th annual season in partnership with Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. This spectacular contemporary dance program features world premiere collaborations by award-winning choreographer Justin Rapaport and award-winning composer Martin Bejerano; choreographer Peter London and composer Kebra-Seyoun Charles; choreographer Kashia Kancey and composer Cristina Moya-Palacios; and London and composer Jean Caze.

New company productions include Peter London’s CARMEN, CARIBBEAN SUITE and INNER RITUAL. Guest stars include Leon Cobb and Andrea Murillo, former Martha Graham Dance Company soloist.

Miami's New Arts Season Unfurled Autumn in South Florida is a special time of year. While we don’t get leaves changing color or crisp weather, we do have something to look forward to: a brand new arts season.

Rebellion & Resilience was the close out of our 2024 summer season, and our feature production for the fall season is AFTER LANDING, December 27-31 at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Thank you and for having us perform at this year’s Juneteenth Celebration.

With the world premiere by London, the contemporary dance is fused with stylistic movements and gestures of flamenco, performed by a woman and two men. It is an extrapolation of the story of Carmen, as created in George Bizet's Opera, and from a film titled "Carmen."

In this “Carmen,” stripped of unnecessary references and open to all interpretations, “the main idea,” its creator points out, “is that we observe how women have always struggled to find their way in a patriarchal society and often get into trouble if they go against the flow. If they are genuinely rebellious, they lose their lives when they try to go beyond the place that has been assigned to them.”
