Did you know that in the UK, in order to fend off areas of low vegetation where pollinators do not thrive, communities are creating "B-Lines!" They are areas of wildflowers or vegetation planted in order to help bees and other pollinators have easy access to different nectar sources! The goal is to amass a total of 150,000 total hectares (350 acres) of dense flower-rich habitats across the UK. There are currently over 3500 B-Lines covering the UK. What do you think? “I was canoeing in the mid 90s and ended up under this Tupelo tree. I got out of my canoe and climbed up and it was absolutely swarming with bees. If the bees loved it, I knew then that the honey must be good. When I went back with my hives, it wasn’t until 1999 that I got my first good batch. And it was so good, man. That's when the idea of Savannah Bee Company was born.​

This year, led by our trusted Tupelo beekeepers, we went to that same place where I began my Tupelo journey, and harvested our newest batch of Tupelo Honey. Hands down the best honey I've had ever had. Our goal is to get the highest quality honey, and this year we really did it.”
