Sweet girl Juno has been in the shelter since April 2024 which is almost all of her life since she is only 1 year old . She came in with her brother who has been adopted. Juno would love to have a family who are active and would take on activities with them.

Juno was found wandering the streets of Conway. She has been at Kind Keeper since April. She is a sweet and very smart girl. She knows how to sit and go to my kennel. She is house trained and likes to play and run with the other dogs in the yard. She is up to date on vaccines and just looking for a family that loves to romp and play with her!

EMERGENCY SITUATION
Spooki is breaking our hearts at the shelter. He came to us along with his 2 sisters in July. His sisters got adopted leaving 4 year old Spooki all alone.

Spooki is doing terrible alone in the shelter, he hides all of the time and will not relax. He is absolutely terrified.

We are looking for either a foster or a family who will give Spooki a chance to be a loving cat.

His story is below and will bring a tear to your eye.....

The man that owned Spooki & his 2 sisters went into the hospital.

This man's father was going to euthanize them because no one would take them, so they ended up here in the shelter.

In need of a veterinarian to perform Low Cost & Rescue Spay/Neuter.

We are a Non-Profit Organization, looking for someone who is compassionate about animal welfare and lowering the over population in our area.

Sneak peek into this week's adoption update:
Marceline showed up in one of our previous adopters yard. She was skin and bones, had a really bad case of mange and is heartworm positive.
She got adopted this week by one of our volunteers who transports animals for spay and neuter appointments, animal events, vet visits and cats to our Petco's and PetSmart's for adoption. He is paying for her heartworm treatment himself which helps our rescue put money into another animal in need.

Everyone loves double stuffed cookies and here is your chance to have a feline version!

Double Stuff is about 3 1/2 years old and came into our care in Spril 2024. He is in a foster home so please call the shelter to schedule a meet & greet with him.

Double Stuff was found wondering the streets at the intersection of 378 in Conway. Unfortunately, he is FeLv+ and needs to be the only cat in the house or only with other FeLv+ cats. He was brought to Kind Keeper where he gets better every day. He is a sweet boy and love head scratches.

UPDATE:
Our wonderful volunteer Betsy who is in charge of intake here at our shelter has chosen a name for the kitten. She has named the kitten Zyda of off the great list provided by our FB followers.

We have two new girls her at our shelter. One has a name one doesn't. Izzy is our new kennel staff. Welcome to the Kind Keeper family Izzy. The new little girl was a drop off at our crazy cat lady employee's house. We here at the shelter we name our rescues through the alphabet system. We are on the letter Z. We would like some name suggestions. We only use the same name once. A dog and cat can have the same name but still only once. Let the naming begin.

TODAY IS BLACK CAT APPRECIATION DAY!
Our black kittens are so special to us. It is true that they often get overlooked because of their color. We want them to find a home just like all of our rescued cats. We are taking $15.00 of our already low adoption fee.

The fee for these black Panthers in training will be $110.00.
The fee includes age appreciate shots, worming, flea prevention, FeLv/FIV test if old enough and spay and neuter. Also, a goodie go home bag.

Discounted adopted fee will be from August 17, 2024 - August 24, 2024

Talk about cuteness overload. Here are some of the new fur babies we have rescued from other shelters. Come in and see who sneaks into your heart.

Please welcome Mango! Mango added one more to our puppy count last Friday, making it 15 total puppies we took in. Mango wandered onto someone's property last week and she sent us a message with a picture of this sweet boy. We had to take him! A volunteer immediately went to pick him up and he went straight to the vet. The vet said his foot had already started healing and said he would be fine with some antibiotics and some anti-inflammatory medication. It looks like he got something wrapped around his foot and it took off some of his toes. He is healing well and has also put on some weight since coming in. Now he would love to be the new member of your family! Come visit him at Kind Keeper! You can find more information about him and our other available animals at kindkeeper.org.
