The Heartful Horse/Dog Healer was recently The Heartful PIG Healer 🐖 😳 "Honey" the pig had been walking around for the past few month "peg-legged" as the owner put it. She had been walking around relatively straight-legged on her hind, right leg. Other than that, Honey is a really friendly, loving, and sociable pig! She loves having her belly rubbed, behind her ears rubbed, and give nose "kisses" frequently. She loves attention!!!
Immediately after her adjustment, Honey was walking around "high-stepping" it!! She literally was bumping her belly with her hind feet with every step, until she started realizing that it took much less effort to lift her legs than it has in a very long time! Honey gave me a long, persistent "THANK YOU" over and over again. She'd come over and touch me with her nose and forehead, stand there against me for 10-20 seconds, and then walk away. Moments later, she'd do it again. ❤️
Mom, having the other dog adjusted instead of you

It isn't always that I get to fly in to my client! But today, one special horse had her Chiropractor fly in, taxi right up to the house, all just to adjust her. 😁
I want to attend one of these..... 😁
Take 20 seconds and watch this video....
Then take another 20 min or more and ponder what this might mean.
If you're a client of mine, chances are you've heard me talk about this many times. Collection cannot come from the back end. Collection also cannot come from the neck. Both of these regions change as a result of collection, but neither can create it. Collection can only come from lifting the thoracic spine, slightly flexing it, and lifting the thoracic cage via the pectoral muscles. If this part doesn't happen first, it places the horse in a poor posture position and increases the load and stresses on various other parts of their body.y experience suggests that this may be one of the major factors in the widespread failure of hocks, stifles, S-I joints, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, and many more parts.
There is a plethora of contraptions that aim to pull the neck in various contortions, and pull the hind end under the horse. Perhaps this will give you a glimpse into why you've heard me say repeatedly that I don't care for them if you're using them to "get their hind end under them" or some other version of this.

Hi all! I took this picture to share, because this is a case of homeopathy likely saving a horse's life. ❤️ This is Benny, well me and Benny 😍, a 9 year old Quarter Horse. His people picked him up to try and rehabilitate him from Montana a year and a half ago. When I first saw him at that time he was so anxious and reactive that I couldn't touch him behind his shoulders without a total panic, and potential melt-down. At that time, I never thought of giving him a remedy, and I have no good explanation for that. Fast forward, I saw Benny one other time about 2 months after that, and never heard about him again.... until 6 weeks ago.
When I saw him 6 weeks ago he was explosively reactive, to the point where his trainers feared that he would end up injuring himself or anyone else and they were at a loss of what to do with him. They are very gentle trainers, and people in general, with nearly 70 years of working with horses. They're not newbies by any means! But they weren't making any progress with this dangerous reactivity.
To make a long story short, I felt very certain about the remedy in this case. I gave this horse a single 200C dose of this remedy about 6 weeks ago and today I saw him again.
There are very few more tolerant, relaxed horses than Benny is now. The owner and trainer both are amazed at how unreactive he is. None of his previous triggers set him off anymore, and he keeps his calm at all times now. He is becoming "Mr Reliable!"
Benny was scarily approaching "unworkable" and his future was getting very close to going to slaughter 😢 One 200C dose and he has since been on the path to becoming one of the favorites in a barn of nearly 50 horses! He's now a REALLY sweet boy!
I love getting to help so many wonderful animals, and work with great people. Especially in places this beautiful in perfect weather!
With Kris Di Carlo Equestrian – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉
Fitting, because I'd say they're pretty great!
I love getting dog hugs when I show up at a barn! Myrtle gives the best Boxer hugs (and kisses 🤣).

Watch closely..... you can see the C5 vertebra move just as the Chiropractic thrust is delivered. Watch it over and over again if you will. 😁
She quickly relaxes back and "thanks" me in her own way afterwards ❤️
When the dogs keep coming by to get cuddles, butt scratches, belly runs, and to just enjoy the warmth of the sun and the calming environment of a The Heartful Horse Healer & Dog Healer adjustment. ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations to Stephen DiCarlo! Amazing job!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to everyone! 🎄🎅🎁
Christmas, one of the best times of year! Any guesses where I'm at? Anyone?
The adorableness is on overload today with "Hank the Tank" above, and this little cutie behind me 😍
Is that spoiling though...???
How good are you at feeling your horse's digital pulses? This is something that's very helpful be good at. You can catch changes early, or at least have very helpful information to help get your horse quick, and accurate help when needed.
Remember, it takes practice to get good at it, and when all is well, it is very hard to feel the pulse! So if you can't find it, that may be normal.
Also, my recommendation is to not use your thumb like you see in the photos. The thumb has a strong pulse of its own, and you could end up feeling it instead of your horse's pulse. Instead, I'd recommend squatting down beside your horse and using both hands. Use the same finger of each hand, ideally the index and middle fingers of each hand, to compare inside and outside simultaneously. Of course, SAFETY FIRST. You know your horse, but be safe at all times.
Have fun practicing and getting better at being your horse's advocate!
Ever watch a dog drink? They don't lap it up on the top of their tongue, but instead by "scooping" it up underneath their tongue.
This loveable cuddlebug Pittie was thirsty yesterday before he got his Chiropractic adjustment, and it was the perfect opportunity to catch a video of him drinking water.
My fellow horse people..... do you see anything concerning about this image? It was taken during season 5, episode 3 of The Crown. I would expect they'd use highly trained and well cared for horses to film the series.... now I'm wondering though.
