The RI Magic is a youth basketball program for boys’ grades 2-12 and girls' grades 5th-12th.

Elite HS teams are members of the invitation only ZGXL grassroots circuit.

Congratulations to 10th ZGXL, who finished 4-0 and won Basketbull’s Jr National Invitational. With wins over Heart Cold Elite, New York’s Finest, Boston Warriors and CNY Impact, the team’s trademark stifling defense and unselfish offense were showcased all weekend. They held opponents to 32 points a game and are definitely ready for ZGXL Championships at Spooknook and enter as the #2 seed.

10th Pachis finished 2-1 in the Basketbull Junior National Invitational tournament with a 4 point win against the BGC Blazers and a 5 point win over Bell City. Jacoby Basler led all scoring with over 7 3’s on the weekend. Bryton Buckley was Sunday’s leading scorer with 12 against Bell City.

In a tough first win, RI Magic 9th ZGXL beats Base Hoops 54-50.  Jon Ramos with 19, Jack Bannon had 9 and Terrell Littlejohn chipped in with 8 points to lead the offense. Everyone contributed defensively to get the hard earned win.

Congratulations to 8th Cunanan who won their first game at the US Jr. Nationals be the Virginia Swarm 43-42. Brooklyn Russillo did Brooklyn things, dropping 32 points! Abigail Hole made some big baskets and the entire team played great defense to hold a big and strong team to 42 points!

Good luck to our 8th grade ladies this weekend as they are in Hershey, Pennsylvania at the USNJ! They begin pool play tomorrow, which runs through Monday. Have fun and enjoy the games and experience.

10th pachis wins the ZG summer tip off going 5-0 on the weekend. In the championship, they used stifling team defense to beat Butler Heat Elite 45 -22. Ryan Antonucci lead all scoring with 16 and David Alessio was a spark with four steals and 10 points.

10th Pachis went 2-0 on the first day of the ZG Summer Tipoff, beating the Cape Cod Warriors by 2 and JT Elite by 8. This team plays a unselfish brand of basketball that is team first, and leading with defense. In the second game, Christian Pachis had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Damola Oremosu had 11 points and 9 rebounds and Kaden Balthazar had 14 and 8 assists. With a win tomorrow, the team will advance to tournament play.

Although we have 6 teams playing this summer, for most of our teams, the spring season has ended. Coaches wanted to recognize the players on their team that improved the most and also players that were outstanding teammates. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Congratulations to our guy Jon Ramos, who was recognized for his performance at ZG Nationals this weekend. A guard that scores at all 3 levels, he had it all on display this weekend! In addition to his scoring, he led the team in assists and was tough on the defensive end as well.

4th Harmon finished their last game of the season with a 39-35 victory over a very competitive team from New York, Triple Thereat. Each athlete contributed offensively and defensively and big time shots were made by players to give them the lead and maintain it as well. No quit in this team ever! 3 Tournament Championships this season and a 17-7 overall record. Very proud of this team and their accomplishments and look forward to seeing their growth in the future.

In a tough final four loss in the top division of ZG Nationals, RI Magic Brugnoli loses to Team NSSA 77-76 in OT. Jon Ramos once again proved he is one of the best 8th graders in the area with 44 points. Mike Brugnoli added 12 points and 4 steals with key baskets down the stretch. This team has fought through injuries and adversity all season long winning two championship and 10 of their last 12 games. We look forward to seeing them over the summer!

7th Tejada finish the weekend 2-1 in the Zero Gravity National Finals Tournament. Cameryn Tejada, 19 points, and Bryan Korhone, 17 points led the team in scoring getting the win vs Albany Stars. This team finished their season with an 18 - 8 record, 3 championship appearances and 2 Championship wins🏆🏆. Every players progressed indubitably during the season and progressed as a TEAM! So many highlights from all 10 players all season long! Special group of players and looking forward to watching them grow as a team through the years! Great job Bryan Korhone, Cameryn Tejada, Nicolas Lora, Aston Rosario, Bentley Macedo, Corey Schultz, Luke Nguyen, Asher Goldstein, Shawn Proctor and Ryan Poloski.

A balanced scoring attack led by Jon Ramos 24 points and Sean Zanella with 16 leads the Magic to bracket play with a 68-42 win over ASA in the ZG Nationals. They finished as the number one seed in their pool and are playing in the top division! Good luck in the semifinals!

Sean Zanella, Jack Bannon and Angel Cruz combine for 34 points and Jaissen Jackson has a great comeback game with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals to lead 9th ZGXL to a 69-58 win over New Haven Heat.

7th Tejada goes 1-1 at Zero Gravity National Finals. Cameryn Tejada, 31 and Bryan Korhone, 16 points led in the scoring column on the day! The entire team played excellent defense and played unselfish offense! Good luck to them the rest of the way!

9th ZGXL start off the ZG Nationals with a 61-47 win over Keith Kenney Basketball. Jon Ramos had 15 with 8 assists. Mike Brugnoli had 13 and Terrell Littlejohn had 11 to lead a balanced attack.

8th Bell bounced back from a tough loss and with full court pressure defense and big shots and got the win vs PSG Elite 37-26! Julian Miya scored 20pts, Ay’Dhen Perry and Nate Tyrell added a couple threes to help the offense. Casey Durkin played great defense in the paint and got a couple steals and Finn Tracey took a charge and played great defense as well, and Emmanuel Batista took care of the ball and scored a big basket as well.

Congratulations to our guy Michael Hebert who was selected as the Male Scholar Athlete of the Year for Mount Saint Charles. Michael wasn’t just an extremely hard worker on the court, he worked just as hard in the classroom! We wish him the best of luck next year at SMU.

Congratulations to our guy Caleb Satisfield, who is not only a tremendous basketball player, but is an outstanding track and field athlete as well. At the state championships last weekend, he finished 2nd in the long jump and 5th in the high jump as a sophomore! Congratulations on your accomplishment!

Congratulations to 4th Harmon, who defeated the Knights 38-33 in a back and forth game. Everyone contributed in the win with the team playing swarming defense. Offensively, the team moved the ball, broke the press effectively and had balanced scoring from multiple players. Congratulations on winning their 3rd championship of the year!

Coleman - Girls finished 2-1 at the Zero Gravity Nationals with a 33-9 win over Team Saints (NH). Full court defensive pressure caused numerous turnovers and easy baskets in transition. Allanah Smith had the hot shooting hand scoring double digits, Gianna Elderkin and Audrey Carter also connected on a number of shots. Defensive standouts, Alana Andrews 7 steals and Milena Grillo 8 rebounds. This team made tremendous improvement throughout the season, playing hard and together while having fun!

Congratulations to 7th Tejada who defeated BCRI-Debo 52-41 to win the championship and their 2nd in a row. The Magic played tremendous defense all game and offensively were led by Brian Korhone, Nick Lora and Luke Nguyen. Defensively, Bentley Machedo, Cory Schulze, Shaun Proctor and Aston Rosario were key at holding a good team to 41 points. Congratulations champs!

9th Pachis advances to the championship with a 53-51 win over the RI Rivals. Tremendous team defense led by John McHale and Drew Gaulin and excellent 3 point shooting were keys to victory. Joel Vega had 20 with 6 3s, Jayden Pachis had 14 points and Cooper Sweeney made big plays at the end of the game. Cormac Sax and Jaydess Vega had big 2nd half 3s as well.

6th Tartaglia finished the weekend 2-1 with a hard fought victory over the Middlesex Magic 26–21. A great team effort, defensively, and timely scoring from Wesley Trost, KJ Fabian, Mason Sena and great defense from Austin Dailey, Logan Sayegh as well as key bench contributions from Mason Almonte, Jiahni Madrid, Austin Dalpe, and Ayush Kokkirala were the keys to a successful weekend.

7th Loomis found themselves down early after a very slow start in game 1 today but battled back and finished the first half with a big run. In the second half, they held on to get the win, 48-41 against SPI Elite Cape Cod. Midas Videira and Joe Shute began driving to the hoop at will and hit several huge free throws down the stretch. Graham Reed and Pietro Okechekwu lit it up from 3-point range and showed tremendous grit on the defensive end as well. These boys continue to prove how important it is to play unselfish, high energy basketball. The whole team stayed determined and never quit on each other.

9th ZGXL continued their roll with a 59-53 victory over Breakout Basketball.  Jon Ramos led the way with 27 points and Mike Brugnoli added 15 points, they will look to advance to their third championship in four tournaments with a win a tomorrow.

4th Walker opened the tournament with a 29-9 win over Metro West Swarm. Miles Dalpe led the scoring with 8 points, while Andrew Walker did a little of everything with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. It was a great, well balanced team win!
