ANOTHER snow day today! 4 in a row. So thankful I saw the post that was open today!!! The kiddos had a blast and so did I!!! It’s been a rough few days iced in, but today it melted!

Pumping is hard, exclusively pumping (EP) is super hard. The amount of time it takes, no one can prepare you for (4ish hours a day)!!!

I only pump to keep my supply up and make sure I have bottles for emergencies.

The most important thing about pumping, is frequent milk removals! Make sure that you are pumping regularly and effectively ☺️

In addition make sure you have
Appropriate fl**ge size
Change all parts out often as recommended by manufacturer (or more often if EP)

My kiddos handled the tornado very well!! Now daughter wants to play fort 🤣 I hope all of my north Texas mamas and babies are staying safe this morning!!!

We STRUGGLED with my daughter to use the adult toilet. She was stuck on using her little potty.

Through using the Mama Coach methods of toilet learning, we were able to figure out that she was scared of the sound that the toilet makes.

She has been successfully using the adult toilet 100% for a few months now!

Just wanted to share a bit of my personal experience with the Mama Coach materials and how I’ve implemented everything into our lives!

A good days sleep starts at night!

My little guy is in a much better place sleep wise than my daughter was at his age 🤗

If you’re extra stressed because you’re dealing with cranky, tired toddlers, on top of it being the holidays. I get it!

The holiday season is inherently stressful for parents, buying presents, scheduling holiday parties with school and work, planning on who to visit on thanksgiving and Christmas. I know how challenging the holidays can be for parents.

Even though I am a nurse and already have a child, the holidays are extra crazy for my family.

There was one year where we went to multiple thanksgivings and christmases, it was exhausting! When we had my daughter, I knew that the stress of the season would become overwhelming.

But I focused on what she needed to be able to function properly. Many infants and toddlers need structure, coming up with a routine and sticking to it as closely as possible helped us to get through the holidays (and every other day).

As I am preparing for the holiday season, I am thinking of you, all the other parents out there! Those of you who are struggling to get your little one to sleep, and struggling to get sleep yourself! I want to make sure that you are also fully supported!

I am offering 3 sessions in December of my intro course, New Year, New Family! (Get those kiddos to sleep, so you can sleep too)!!!

Pumping mamas! You know that feeling when you skip your pump in favor of sleep 😅 whew!! This was a few hours after my little guy woke up to nurse in the middle of the night, my right side was rock solid and leaking everywhere! It was a mess! Sticking to a schedule is so important to keep supply up and at the correct level for your babe! Have you been skipping pumps? If you need support with your pump, or fl**ge fitting, let me know!! I’m here to help you mama!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! Finally feeling better! This new antibiotic is seeming to help! Hoping the culture comes back and it’s sensitive so I don’t have to try another! Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Wwwweerrreeee bbaaaccckkk!!!! Little staycation with my family for my daughter’s birthday, and being pretty sick with mastitis kept us busy the past week! Tuck yourself into bed tonight and before falling asleep, reflect on all the beautiful ways you have made your life and the lives of your family, friends, and the strangers you meet along the way, more joyful and rewarding.

Remember this has been a challenging time for everyone, in varying degrees, so Be proud of yourself for being here today.💖
