HIRING DELIVERY DRIVERS

Job description
Wholesale Plumbing Company is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and hardworking delivery driver/warehouse assistant to join our growing team. As a delivery driver/warehouse assistant your primarily focus is getting the right parts to the right people at the right time and engaging with customers as the face of company throughout the day. You must also have your own transportation to and from work, be able to lift merchandise weighing as much as 80 pounds, and able to pass a drug screen and background check. Hours of Operations are 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Salary is determined on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Building long-term relationships with the customers you deliver to
• Driving throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
• Utilizing automatic transmission vehicles
• Inspecting, protecting, and maintaining company merchandise and vehicles
• Motivated to train and learn
• Load and unload trucks
Qualifications and Skills
• Ability to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
• Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
• Strength to lift at least 80 lbs. of merchandise.
• Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
• Valid driver’s license
• No DWI convictions
• No more than one moving violation AND/OR fault accident in the last three years minimum
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Knowledgeable of plumbing parts a strong plus
• 21 years of age
