My children attended the Downtown Georgetown Market with me this past Saturday. This was the very first time I had taken my children to an event and I was extremely anxious about tending their needs while running the show but these kids never fail to amaze me with their creativity and joy for life. B set up his chessboard and began asking everyone he met if they would be interested in a game. Over the 7 hour show, he played 12+ games with at least 9 different patrons. Initially, I worried about him "bugging" people. Then, I realized that was my own trauma talking. They are adults and can say no if they don't want to play. Big, huge Thank You to all of the people who said yes to my little boy. Yall made an impact with your kindness and giving him a piece of your day ❤️ I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are a few that I took.
