Over at Recruiter School Today, SK1 had the privilege of partnering with the Coast Guard HQ EPM team, which included LCDR Simon Sekitoleko and YN2 Cardenas, for a job fair hosted in collaboration with Lutheran Social Services National Capital Region at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. We were excited to share information about the Coast Guard’s expedited naturalization program with over 100 attendees, resulting in more than 35 new applicants.

Petty Officer Cruz administered the Oath of Enlistment to SR Bennett who arrives to tonight! Chief Frazier, the recently selected Rating Knowledge Manager (RKM) for the Talent Acquisition Specialist Rating (TA), and SK1 Cruz spoke to week 8 recruits providing them a lesson on the STAR program and received feedback from the recruits on their recruiting experience. We then completed facilitating a care taking block to recruiter school students which included vital forms needed for accessions and closed out the day with a Recruiter School Q&A with week 8 recruits.
