Thank you to the Redford Township Leisure Services for being very flexible for the Concert Series at the Marquee while dealing with some pretty severe weather last night and having a change of venue in order to get the concert to happen.

And a big thank you to the people that braved the elements to come see us perform!

The Barbershop Harmony Society is slowly releasing contest videos, and our ballad, arranged by Kohl Kitzmiller Music came out this morning! Learning this arrangement was a labor of love and risk and sacrifice, and singing it was an honor.

The 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society International Convention in Cleveland this past week was such a wonderful showcase for the Pioneer District!

As we are basking in the afterglow of a wonderful week in Cleveland, we are so thrilled to have garnered 7th place in the 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Contest!!!
We are taking a small hiatus for the rest of July and will be back on Aug. 5th.

Truly an enriching weekend in Cleveland as we are the 2024 Barbershop Harmony Society 7th place International Chorus!!!

Rehearsal in Cleveland starts today!!!!!

The time has come for us to make our way to Cleveland!
We are so excited to cross the Barbershop Harmony Society International Chorus Conest stage as Contestant #26 and representing the Pioneer District.
We take the stage on Sat. July 6th around 11:20am.
Can’t wait to show the world what we got in store!

Thank you to the Capitol City Chordsmen for hosting the 2nd annual Doran McTaggart Send-Off show in Haslett, MI last night.
It was a wonderful evening to fundraise and support our ensembles from the Pioneer District heading to compete in Cleveland this July.

An exciting convention weekend in Kalamazoo, MI for the Motor City Metro Chapter as MI-X Chorus won their first Pioneer District Chorus Championship with a score of 78.3!!!

Also congrats to Motor City Metro chapter quartets, Girl Talk Quartet & company quartet for qualifying to compete for the Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Contest that will take place in Cleveland this July.

This weekend is the Pioneer District 2024 Spring Convention in Kalamazoo, MI.
We are so thrilled for all the Motor City Metro Chapter representatives crossing the stage.

City Lights Chorus, Northville’s premiere men’s chorus, is excited to present its 2024 Spring Concert on Saturday, May 18 at 3:30pm at Hilltop Church in Northville.
Along with CLC, the show will feature 2 wonderful ensembles.
Our Pioneer District (State of Michigan) 2nd place quartet, company, and an exclusive performance that spans 3 generations by the Gibson-LaPointe Family Singers.
