The Justice Speakers Institute (JSI), in collaboration with the American Probation and Parole Association, is delighted to present an opportunity for for parole and probation officers to acquire additional knowledge on how to supervise individuals with an Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and/or other Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and recognize some of the potential medications that can assist you in that supervision. Held at the APPA 2024 Winter Training Institute, Seattle, Washington, this one-day in-person training is a comprehensive upgrade to existing OUD training programs, specifically tailored to equip criminal justice professionals with essential information necessary for supervising individuals with this disease. This training program is being led by Chief Mack Jenkins (Ret.), Vice President of JSI and supported by Dr. William Morrone, Judge Geno Salomone (Ret.) and Chief Cynthia Herriott (Ret.).
