It’s back!!!

We released our new Hard Iced Tea and Hard Lemonade last night and tonight we are releasing the next in the line of malt cocktails we’re making…. A Transfusion…. It’s our malt alcohol, grape juice and topped with a little ginger ale. Damn tasty!! Just like the lemonade and iced tea, it clocks in at 7.0% abv.

Tomorrow morning, we’ll be releasing our Bloody Mary and Mimosas and a ton of new menu items for brunch!

We have a ton going on this weekend…. But we have to give folks the head’s up that we are dramatically kicking up our breakfast/brunch menu a bunch of notches starting this weekend!

Omelettes to order, house-made corned beef hash, different eggs bene’s…. As well as:

Breakfast Pizza: our normal house-made crust, house-made sausage gravy base, a blend of mozzarella and cheddar jack cheese, bacon and topped with scrambled eggs and maple-sriracha aioli

Smoked Duck Hash: duck-fat tossed mini-potatoes, collared greens, onion, garlic, black garlic and shredded cherry-smoked duck roasted in a cast iron skillet and topped with a over-easy fried egg.

Since we are adding our malt cocktails this weekend as well, we’ll have bloody marys and mimosas available as well!!!

We serve breakfast/brunch every Sat and Sun 9:30-“noonish”.

Expectations aren’t high for this season but that doesn’t mean we can’t hang out with friends and have a good time regardless. We’ll have the big griddle on the patio with some food specials… and a big pile of our Malt Cocktails are coming this weekend!!! Grab some friends and come hang out for a bit!

Got the kids off to school AND got em home in one piece? You’ve done enough today and deserve a beer (or a hard seltzer)! It’s going to be a gorgeous afternoon/evening on the patio so swing through, let us take care of making dinner, and celebrate a job well done on handling the first day of school! 😊🍻

Minions will be on the big screen tonight for the summer’s last Family Movie Night! Kids go back to school next week and we’ll pick up the movie nights next spring. In the lean time, swing by for a beverage and some dinner while the kids relax with a movie!

The last batch of Freedom flew out of here way faster than we exoected and we have tried to get it back as quickly as possible without cutting any corners…
And…. Now…. It’s back!

BIG can release tonight…. Freedom is back… as well as fresh cans of our two new fruited sours!! Seedless is our 5.4% abv sour fermented with 100% pure watermelon and Georgia, our 5.4% abv sour fermented with 100% pure peaches.

Given how quickly Freedom cans went last time and with the long holiday weekend coming quickly, we have online purchasing updated and available!

Only two more Family Movie Nights left for the summer! This week we’re showing Despicable Me 3! Put the kids in their pajamas, grab a blanket and some pillows, and come relax with a beverage and a bite to eat!

Thought we might get a little rain tonight but it now looks like it’s going to miss us…. Which gives us another beautiful night with the overheads open and perfect weather for patio drinks and eats!!!

Only a couple of weeks left before kids are back in school and we wrap up Family Movie Night for the summer!

Tonight we’ll have Kung Fu Panda 4 playing on the big screen!

Like we always mention, for folks not into the movie, given our layout, it’s not a distraction at and around the bar…. Plus, we’re looking at a gorgeous night for a bite to eat and a beer in the beer garden.

Great music all weekend!! BJ Knights takes over the taproom tonight (Fri). We have “80’s Night” with the M-80’s tomorrow night (Sat) and then our Sunday Blues Series continues Sunday with Pat Halpin & the 351s!!

Garlic Steak Breakfast Burrito: minced garlic, shaved steak, 3 scrambled eggs, cheddar jack cheese and garlic aioli!

We do breakfast/brunch every Sat & Sun from 9:30-12:00 and then switch over to our normal menu.

We’re going to blink and the kids will be back in school but we’ll be doing Family Movie Night every Tuesday before they do! This week we are showing Moana on the big screen. Put the kids in their PJs and bring a blanket and a pillow and come by for a bite to eat and a drink.

For those of you not into animated movies, the movie doesn’t distract folks sitting at or around the bar given our layout. 🍻🍻

We dropped the ball!!! Our on-line events calendar is empty! We’ll get that fixed/updated today but in the mean time, just a head’s up, we have Junkyard Dogs, a local acoustic duo playing in the taproom tonight from 6:30-9:30. Get out of this gross heat, come grab something to eat and a beer, and relax in the AC with some great live local music. 🍻🍻

It is WAY too damn hot to cook. A/C is cranked in the taproom and in addition to paninis and pizzas, we have some lighter wraps that fit this obnoxious weather a bit better. It’s Friday-eve and you deserve a beer anyway. 🍻🍻

NEW BEERS! Cans will still be a couple days but we wanted to get our new twin sours on tap tonight!

Both are 5.4% ABV kettle-soured Berliner Weiss-style sours. Both are going to give you a solid tart profile on the palate but then:

SEEDLESS: breaks the tart with the 100% pure watermelon that was added during secondary fermentation while…

GEORGIA: does the same thing except with 100% pure white peaches!

Swing by, grab a bite to eat and give em a try!

Family Movie Night tonight, just like every Tues over the summer!

Wreck it Ralph will be up on the big screen for the kids and if animated kids’ movies are ‘t your thing, it’s no problem as the movie is not a distraction to folks at the bar. 🍻🍻

Added fresh blueberries to the kitchen this morning for blueberry pancakes and we have a beautiful morning in the beer garden for breakfast!

To celebrate the Paris games, we are hosting “Norton 2024: The Bog Iron Olympics” tomorrow starting at 1:00! Five goofy bar-room events (none are “drinking games”) that teams of four will be competing in against each other! We promise that pretty much anyone can compete in these “events”. We have a couple team-spots open so grab a couple friends, come up with a team name, and shoot us an email at [email protected] with the team name the contact info for one team member, and then get here tomorrow in time for “opening ceremonies” at 1:00!
