It's all about the awesome parking industry and how 'we' are the center to sustainability in the broader sense.

Keep doing what you are all doing, making a huge difference in our communities.

Looking Back ... and Forward | Parking & Mobility Magazine Looking back at 2022, it seems like we all just burst out of our shells and couldn’t wait to get back to business, to get together, to talk nonstop.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to present the Challenges and Opportunities of Transportation Parking and Mobility at the Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute class of 2022. We had an Excellent class engagement and a lot of great conversation, interaction and dialogue in this session. The class was held at Danbury's Municipal Airport - https://lnkd.in/gH9X47dd.

I shared the stage before former Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton who is now the Commissioner of Revenue for the State of Connecticut who presented an overview of the State’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

As an industry, public engagement is the best way to engage and highlight awareness and educate. I’m all in as a priority way to communicate.

What is the Most Important Skill of this Century? Being In-distract-able 03/28/2022

Happy Monday, last Monday of March. Very, very cold here in the NE! You know what they say, March comes in like a......and goes out like a.......

I like this visual presentation of SUCCESS. An important tool to balance between Dis-Traction and Tra-Ction. A good skill to learn and master not just in business but in life. Check it out.

WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS..

What is the Most Important Skill of this Century? Being In-distract-able Being successful is not about being smart or naturally gifted. Research shows our IQ accounts for just 20% of “success” in life.

Yesterday, March 8th, 2022 was my Birthday, not a milestone birthday for me but always a special day as I share this day with an important Global event, INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY. On this special March 8th day, I always feel a sense of Honor and Pride. IWD was originated in 1910. A day to celebrate the amazing achievements of women around the world who have inspired us, mentored us, lead the path and created a more balanced and inclusive environment. We celebrate the 'day', but truly this is something to celebrate every day. And not only about women, but about Inclusion and how we view the world, how we work and live together, how we treat each other, how we view humanity, how we navigate our environment in an unbalanced, uncertain time to create a more inclusive world.
Let's keep this momentum going all the time, not just one day a year. Let us be the mentors and the inspiration. Let's create a more inclusive world.
There is still so much more to do.

Today was a full blown in person Municipal Forum hosted by New England Parking Council in Worcester. It was inspiring and engaging and a great opportunity for networking and connecting old and new friends. There were over 70 attendees from all over New England and beyond representing municipal, hospital, university and vendors.

We were welcomed by Vice Chairman Heather Matthews, CAPP, PMP with opening remarks by Worcester's Mayor, Joseph Petty. There was an amazing presentation by Worcester's Parking team that highlighted a recent parking management collaborative implementation around Polar Park. We learned about Worcester's Transit District and EV Charging. Brandy Stanley, MBA, CAPP gave a presentation about curb management pilot in Las Vegas and Carey Redd about the launch of the Smart Ride on demand microtransit in New London. Thank you to the Event Co Chairs Brooke Nelson, BSIE, MBA and Faye Morrison for their time and effort in organizing this municipal forum where we felt a little bit back to 'normal'.

The annual conference is at Foxwoods 6/8-6/10. You can register here: https://lnkd.in/eBs86UHq

IF YOU WERE THERE, LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS, WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
