Mail Something Pretty

On Tuesday's live I mentioned that I had done this technique before (the best ones are for repeating). I made Halloween this week, but as we discussed & you'll see, you can make this card for almost any reason/season.

I know it's August, be we made Scrappy Strip cards for Halloween on this week's live. As you'll see, you can do any color combination for any reason. It's a great card technique when you need to make a holiday, but don't have many holiday supplies. All you need to do is vary the colors.

Take a notice at the peach striped paper or better yet, the peach glitter paper. I think it adds a nice touch to this technique.

I love the eyeballs too. I used mini black brads for mine, but as we discussed on the live, you can glue on googly eyes and black adhesive back dots or gems too.

Ann Lewis, Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator made a great "slide & lock" or as I say "lock & slide" card. I loved how she made her sliding mechanism, different than I showed you last month.
Ann was so gracious to not only share a picture, but to covert her measurements into imperial for all of us US crafters.
